I drove in to the Distillery District to see the Toronto International Circus Festival . I didn't pay for the inside main stage event, so it was just outside things. There were supposed to be 3 stages going on outside, but i only found two of them.

It started off all right - i heard the theme to Wonder Woman, just as Mission Groovity started. They started doing some small Cirque-like acts, swinging on a hoop and such (i took photos, but they need to be developed).

Theirs was the best act, most circus-like, but it got cut short by rain. Dammit.

Why did i leave B&W film in the camera?

Eventually, the rain cleared up some, and i saw a couple of more acts, like The Fire Guy, The Ben Show, and part of Scott Free, but they were just ordinary buskers, doing tricks and juggling and such. Good, entertaining, but not really 'circus'.

Busker! OH! Will he eat the fire?! Yes...uhh... waitaminnit...

He got all the balls spinning with the kid just standing there, and well, there was a trick with plungers.

The little girl was a bit afraid - didn't know what to make of it.

The bakery would be to the lower left, the outdoor stage 1 off to the upper right. You can see a GO Train passing at the top.

I like wandering the Distillery District, and checking out the galleries. You know, i see some people's art, and get really intimidated, and wonder why i'm bothering, but then, sometimes i see stuff and think, "I can do stuff as good as or better than that." The area has several windy little streets, nooks and crannies.

I got lunch from the Brick Street Bakery. I also got to see eccles cakes, which i've heard of, but never seen.

Playing around in photoshop (a pic from near the District).
