I went into the city to get a new knapsack at Mountain Equipment Co-op (i ruined the zipper on the old one). Had lunch at St. Tropez on King Street, French onion soup, and a salad (which had far too much parmesan, bleagh). I decided to walk down to the Harbourfront to see the tall ships.

From the bridge over the rail tracks...

Looking the other way.

And now across the street.

Traffic peeling down from the Expressway.

When barbecuing hot dogs gets out of control.

American ship, The Niagara (sank during the War of 1812, raised and restored).

They seemed to be at a loss. (That's Toronto Island across the Harbour).

On The Niagara - prow side.

Looking up.

The Bluenose II.

The flag from 1812.

A Canadian Sea Cadet, probably wondering why he's a sea cadet.

Busker! *shakes fist*

The Pathfinder (Cdn) in front, The Pride of Baltimore (US) behind.

Not very nice reminder under a bridge.

The Pathfinder again (obviously smaller than the other one).

The Pride of Baltimore.

The Bluenose II - famous clipper from Nova Scotia.

Scotspersons.

The Roundhouse, still not redeveloped yet.

The tip is 553 m up.

What a random thing near the base of the CN Tower.

346 metres up.
