Friday i went with a friend to the 'Photographic, Video & Digital Imaging Show', which was essentially a Henry's Cameras show, but still good. After, we took photos of jets flying overhead, as we were quite near the airport.

Looking towards the sun.

Russ had found a good place to get shots along a flight path for one of the runways.

It was pretty windy, and flights seemed to stop (as they switch paths/runaways to match the changing wind), so Russ & i grabbed a quick supper at nearby Wendy's. The wind was more obvious as the planes flew, as the wings were fairly unsteady.

Eventually, they started flying again, and we went back after eating. Almost impossible to see in this pic, but there is a faint dot directly below the jet, between the two trees, which is another jet in the distance, ready to come after the more visible one.

I switched where i was standing, to get a more 'profile' view as the planes came in.

You can more clearly see the second plane behind the first one here.

Didn't notice Russ when i took this - i was tracking the plane.
