I visited Dar, up near Haliburton. Along the way, i took photos of wildflowers along the side of the road, and some photos at Dar's (will update later). I ended up Dar's longer than i expected. Dar and Charly made me supper. Dar and i walked around the place (in the woods). They have really gotten in to blanket weaving: Wild Haliburton Elephant Weavers.

Friday evening i decided to go to the Beaches, for the Jazz festival street fest. As i got close, it seemed parking was ridiculously easy. Oh, wait, wrong weekend, lol. So, i decided to park (right on Queen), and walk around and take some photos anyway.

2010 July 16: I ended up having a late supper at a place called Absolute Café - in fact, it turned out i kind of forced them to reopen for dinner (well, they didn't have to). I got a free bit of toast and some kind of very spicy dip (cool to taste, then a burning aftertaste, lol - I went through a lot of water, lol), and a small soup. That is a sémillon blanc.
